  1. Well you should get an e-mail of confirmation from paypal to your e-mail account you chose to set it up with

  2. Hello,

The easiest way to know if you have received a paypal payment is to either log into your account.  If you have access to the email you used with paypal you should have received a payment notification.

  3. Um when it is posted to your paypal account>?

  4. Money deposited into your account will just go in.  You will get an email to let you know of the activity.  Once its in there, its in there.  No one can take it out or transfer it but you.  Ebay and Paypal work well together so the moment your item sells, the buyer will be alerted to pay and given the option to do it immediately through your Paypal account  The moment you see it in your Paypal account, send them what they bought.

  5. you will get a confirmation email when any payments have been made or taken from your paypal account. hope that this helps hun.

you lcan also log into your paypal account to check whether payments are pending or complete and then you know its is safe to post your item

  6. You'll get an email confirmation that you've received a payment.  But if you're expecting a payment and you don't get an email, periodically check your PayPal account (or eBay sold list if that's what the payment is for).

There are a couple of cases where you need to manually accept a PayPal payment:

The first is if you sold something on eBay, your buyer paid with a credit card, and you have a Personal account at PayPal.  They will prompt you to upgrade to Premier in order to accept that payment.

The second is if you receive a payment in a currency that's not what they have on file for your account.  Let's say your account is in US dollars, but you get a payment in Canadian dollars.  PayPal will ask you if you want to keep it as Canadian dollars, or convert it to USD.  If you keep it as Canadian, you will have two different balances in your PayPal account, a USD balance and a CAD balance.  Doing it this way doesn't make much sense unless you do a lot of transactions in both currencies.
