she has a big tummy but her gravid spot isnt that big. but last time she was pregnant i dont think it got that big either. and it has been around 20-24 days since she last gave birth. she didint eat yesterday at all and i heard thats a sign. today i tried to feed her but she would just spit the food back out. i then fed her again and she ended up eating. when will she give birth?? how do i know when to put her in a breeders net. i put her in a breeders net today. how often do i put her in. i heard after 24-48 hours if she still hasnt had them then to take her out. after i take her out how long do i leave her in the tank with the others before i can put her back in the breeders net

  1. leave her out until she looks "squared off" look at this video and you will see that what squared off looks like. this guppy has a small gravid spot and a big belly like you have described so this is what she will look like 8D  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy9Cm1kY8...  hope this helps!

  2. Put her in the net when she is squared off. That means the area by her gravid spot is squarish looking. My guppy did the exact same thing on Saturday evening. She wasn't squared off and I thought she was fine. I went to bed and in the morning there were guppy fry in the tank. If she gave birth 20-24 days ago, she should have at least 5 days if the birth was 20 days ago. If it was 24 days ago then it could be 1-3 days. Keep a close eye on her. Don't keep putting her in and out of the net though. She can get stressed and abort the pregnancy and the fry.

    Good Luck!!!!
