  1. if it came from pet store they are already fixed

  2. I am not certain about which signs to look for when a female is in heat. You should probably get her into a vet though as soon as possible. A female in heat for more than 3 weeks, can develop estrogen toxicity.

Edit: After doing a little bit of research I found this website:

    http://www.ferrets.org/EmergenciesAndTre...

"Unspayed Female in Heat - if a female is heat for >3 weeks, she can develop estrogen toxicity. This results in bone marrow aplasia causing thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, and a nonregenerative anemia. The owner will know the ferret is in heat as the v***a is very enlarged. They may also notice petechia of the skin."

  3. If she isn't mated and doesn't receive an injection or fake "mating session" (using a desexed male) she will suffer from anemia! It is very dangerous and if you don't intend on breeding her u should get her fixed - ferret mating can be very vicious

  4. You are joking.

  5. ohh you'll know!!!!!!

remember kiddies use a condom! teenage pregnancy is just not cool

    that is all

  6. Pick it up after two days of not feeding it. Hold it close to your chest and if it goes for your ear to nibble on and try and bite it off like one did to me one Christmas Day, then you will know it is in season. Good luck and have some pliers close by to pry it's jaws open!!

  7. I agree with Kodo & Loki, you should probably get her into a vet.

That also looks like very good site.
