How do i know when my parrot is stressed???

By the way he's a blue fronted amazon. He picks out his feathers, we are squirting him with water in the meantime. thanks

  1. When our lovebird was pulling out its feathers, I heard that it could be sexually frustrated. Do with that what you will. Just wanted to throw in another possibility.


  2. He may have an infestation or you may be stressing him out with the sprayer.  He may be bored/under stimulated/too confined.  He may just be molting and itchy.  Give the water sprayer a rest if stress is suspected.  Determine and remedy the cause.

  3. It will complain to you : " Master, I'm stressed !"  

  4. When he starts taking out a Marlboro pack and smokes them away...
