  1. It all depends on how you feel about them... personally I don't use pads because I don't like them but if you're uncomfortable using tampons then definitely use a pad until you become accustomed to using tampons.  And if you've been using tampons just test it, use a tampon one day and a pad on another and see which you like better.

  2. eather way is great. but i would perfer to wear a tampon, there so much easier and you feel comfortable where ever you go. a pad i would suggest for lighter days.

  3. Generally, it has more to do with individual preference rather than what is better. You can use either a tampon or a pad with a light period as they make products for both. If you prefer tampons with your periods, use light for the lighter days. If you prefer pads for light days, use those.

I use both depending on the situation I'll be in. If I'm going to be out for awhile and unable to use a bathroom, I'll use a tampon. It's more comfortable and there is no smell. If I can get to a bathroom often, I'll use a pad with light days.

  4. It depends on what you like, but for me, wearing a pad on a heavy day feels like a diaper, so I prefer tampons on heavy days. However, I prefer pads overnight and on light days because the tampon is usually too dry after 8 hours and hurts to take out if your flow is light.

  5. for me personally, I like tampons on heavier days and pads on lighter days, because a heavy pad is a big pain. but for my regular flow days, I like both, but tampons are easier for me to use and they're way more convenient, so I usually use tampons. But its up to you. :) good luck..

  6. I think it's a personal preference. I choose to use a pad, because then I don't have to change a tampon every one or two hours or worry about leaking. For lighter days, I think you should use what ever you are most comfortable with and what you can trust not to leak.
