  1. Move all your documents, music, videos, favorites etc. to your external hard drive but change the shortcut in the properties menu to where it is in your external hard drive. Any Software will need to be uninstalled off your pc and installed by the original cd into a folder in your external hard drive. Moving them over won't work trust me, I've done it. Do not move any system files or folders called windows.

    Hope this helps.

  2. everything in Program files folder is added extras, but there is a few like internet explorer where obviously you need it there.

The only things that windows needs to keep is the windows directory.

My most obvious answer to you, is to put in a bigger internal hard drive in

  3. The question is rather difficult to answer since I do not know what you have on your PC. As a rule, you can move anything thats in your "My Documents" folder to another disk, CD, or delete. This includes photos, music, movies, documents, etc. As for the rest of it, these will mostly be installed programs that will not run if they are just manually moved. And please don't tuoch anything in your Windows directory, or I know exactly what your next question will be: "How do I get my PC to work? Windows does not start..!"

Lol. Please give more info and maybe I or somebody else can assist you in more detail

    Hope this helped.

  4. most music/films /games and photos if you put them on can be deleted or written to cd/dvd.

try for burning data cd/dvd's "free easy burner"a quick simple program ~make sure you click on data.

    with re guards to memory~try.

"ccleaner"(yes 2 c's) it will clear unwanted temp files and browser cookies out thus giving you some memory back.

also install"jkdefraggui" the first time you run it .it can take up to 3/4 hours(best run overnight with no other programs running).this should get you quite a lot of memory back.
