How do i know which version of xbmc i have on my xbox?(the original xbox)?

whats the latest version of xbmc. I just wanna upgrade mine so that I can play .mkv files and be able to view files on a vista machine which I here can be done with the latest version of xbmc

  1. I have XBMC SVN 2008-07-28 Rev 14439, that is not the latest version but it has the features you want for Vista.

    The latest version which also includes the new Razorfish 'Mediastream' skin is Rev 15026, available from the link below.


  2. try googling with  "frank's xbmc autoinstaller" as your keyword. Get the latest iso burn it on your disc and you will be able to play mkv files :-)
