i would recommend watching some films..

for a true southern accent..there is no greater film than Gone with the Wind..

southern speaking can be easy to perform. it has a definite drawl to it, like yawl, spoken slowly. the accents of words are spoken different than in the north. check into the southern states, drama classes in the north, use your imagination - it really isn't that hard.listen to the videos you can find. also, remember the southerners speak properly.
