  1. You can work out at home really cheap. To increase strength in you chest, triceps and shoulders you can do push-ups. The amount of spread you have between your arms will determine what part of your pectorial muscles you will be working. You can also find some plastic milk jugs. Fill them with water and curl them. Easy substitute for a dumbell. Get multiple jugs and a broom stick and you can curl, bench press, military press. All of which can help with biceps, shoulders, neck, triceps, and back muscles. These are cheap alternatives if you do not own a weight set.

Also realize that your punching technique may be the problem. If you ground yourself properly and use your bodies weight and momentum correctly your can drive a very effective punch.

I would not spend a lot of money on books about hidden secrects or anything like that.

    Hope this helps.

  2. this may sound stupid, but its very true.  you dont start a strong punch with your arm, you start it with your @$$.  watch this video of sports science analysis of Rampage Jackson's punching technique for proof  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzYMX_3K_...

The key to a strong punch is technique and power.  based on your situation, your technique is going to have to come from watching and practicing on your own.  I recommend getting some sort of bag to practice on and sufficient wraps for your fists.  For the power, just hit the gym and rock out your arms, chest, and legs.

  3. Join karate if you can. Do exercises, like push ups, to strengthen your arms and shoulders. Get a punching bag and gloves, but don't hit it real hard.

  4. I recommend the following page. Don't worry, the cash is worth it.

  5. Just get a heavy bag and punch it many times a day. You develop punching power by punching. Simple as that. Now go punch something.

  6. how old are you ?

start martials arts if you can

  7. Ok, but remember the adage, "slow is smooth, smooth is fast".  I would buy a book on Krav Maga, study techniques and practice them until you no longer feel awkward.

Shadow boxing for a few minutes at a time really will get you sweating, but don't sacrifice technique for speed, speed will come in time.  Technique is very important.  Practice getting good technique out slowly, speed and power will  come in time.
