Basically I just opened a new Indian Restaurant and I'm trying to reach a broader base (it's in Norcross, GA about 12 miles North of Atlanta). If i google the restaurant the location and stuff shows up but I want to how to enter it into other databases and be able to provide some basic information on those sites (like menu, hours, phone numbers etc.). if anyone knows anything about this i would appreciate the help. Thanks!

  2. hi if you have a web site try this site

  3. When I lived in Atlanta, I got good response for business by listing in "Access Atlanta", and it was free. I don't know if it still is or not because I've been gone for 6 years now. However, like I said, the response was great and it would be worth paying for if it's not still free.

Send out a few press releases to "AJC", and the ones in local areas like Duluth, Lawrenceville, Stone Mountain, Clarkston, etc... and radio stations. As you know, folks in Atl. area don't mind going the distance for good food and they're used to the commute.

PRWeb can do a press release package for you pretty reasonable that'll get you blanket coverage for the entire area, and a little beyond. I think there may be a free ebook still available at http://probusiness411.com that shows how to set up a good responsive press release that is more likely to get picked up by local radio, TV, or paper.

Wouldn't hurt to hit the local search engines online because people are using them more and more these days in their search for businesses and establishments. Craigslist would also be a good place to post at. However, don't just outright advertise there, but maybe offer a simple Indian recipe and refer to the restaurant for more cuisine.

Do a few articles about Indian culture or current hot cultural concerns, and put your restaurant info in author resource box. Never know what locals have web sites and blogs that may pick up on your articles and post them for their readers.

The key to success when using articles is to offer good reader usable information. You build up credibility with people and become the go-to guy for more info (and food).

Heck, if I'd known you were open, we might have had our little family reunion event there last weekend instead of in the Buford Hwy. and Pleasant Hill Rd. area.

If I can be of further assistance in some way, let me know and I'll do what I can.

Anyway, hope the suggestions get you good response and good luck with the business.
