Yes it hurts. it's nerve wracking, it's clumsy, and odd at first.

i wouldn't just "choose" to lose it. you really need to be aware of what that means.

it's something that can NEVER be given back to you.

make sure that the person you are with is someone that respects you, that wont take advantage of you, that loves you.

make sure that you are ready for a HUGE responsibility if it comes to it (meaning- a BABY). you CAN become pregnant even your first time.

make sure you understand what protection is, how to use it, and that you DO USE IT! not just to prevent pregnancy but STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) if a guy wants to have s*x w/you but doesn't want to use a condom...DO NOT do that! ALWAYS use protection. know that even though you use protection you can STILL become pregnant or infected w/an STD.

be smart! if you dont feel like it's right, dont do it. dont let anyone pressure you into it.

I'm speaking from experience here...i wish i could go back smack myself up side the head and say..DONT have s*x w/HIM! dont lose your virginity with THAT guy!

Wait until you're old enough for marriage. Losing your virginity in marriage is preferable to losing it before marriage. Nothing compares to the gift of chastity. Imagine the joy that your mate will have in knowing that you have never been tainted. And think of all the STDs or unwanted pregnancies you will avoid. All the best!

If you do not know the answer to this question, you have not had NEARLY ENOUGH sexual education, and are also not emotionally or mentally mature enough to deal with s*x, and the consequences of becoming sexually active.

If you DO have s*x, at least have the sense to use a condom.

It does hurt the first time you have s*x but as long as the boy you are with is gentle and takes it slow it'll be easier.

If you are ready then you would have done made you an appointment at the health department to get on free birth control or go to your family doctor.

If you know you could handle possibly getting pregnant if you do not use birth control correctly then i guess you are ready. When you know you can handle what s*x brings then i guess go for it.

If you are scared then maybe you are not as ready as you are thinking you are.

Well first off, how old are you? and yes it will hurt. If you decide to do this make sure you love this person and have a future with this person. Make sure he uses a condom. NO EXCUSES! But most of all just make sure this is really what you want. s*x is a very big and important deal, it changes alot of things.
