  1. first of all you don't lose calories you burn them off but you should put yourself on a strict exercise regime of some exercises which use your whole body but don't forget to rehydrate and make sure you have eaten enough energy

  2. run. and run and run and run and run and run and run.......... then jog for a little bit, and run some more. stop eating foods with so many calories, because the challenge will be harder.

  3. Swimming for 40 minutes burns 400 calories, so I'd say do a lot of swimming. Also running burns quite a lot of calories, so run for as long as you can, but I wouldn't do too much at once, because it'll just injure your muscles.

  4. If you ate absolutely nothing for 11 days, you would burn about 22000 (if you still have a pretty snappy metabolism.

That will leave you with about 8000 more to burn. Since you've got 11 days, you could burn off 727 each day.

That means you'll need to be on the treadmill or doing active cardiovascular exercise for at least 3 or 4 hours each day. That's going to be pretty hard to do, given that you won't be able to eat anything at all to reach that level of caloric deficit.

How about take a more reasonable route instead, and decrease your current caloric intake by 500 cals daily. You'll reach your same goal (i.e., losing 8.5 pounds) before Halloween.
