How do i mail a rose to my friend?

My friends birthday is coming up soon and i want to mail her a rose and a nice card but i don't know if i should do something to it like dry it and flatten it inside the card while still maintaining the aesthetic value of it. what other suggestions can anyone give me and if the drying thing is a good idea how do i do it right?

why not try to send it in a wine bottle box,the thin tall kind.with a vile of water attached to the bottom of it.

floral delivery services are better.If your mail is like ours here it will end up in the dead letter section.
