How do i make JV volleyball?

the coach is thinking of putting me on freshman, but i think id be bored there. is there anything i can work on or do at the actual tryouts to help me get on JV? any tips?

ok i play on freshmore which is freshmen and softmores but i also play on jv. the only thing i would say would help you would to serve over hand and to call the ball.when it comes to you say i got it or mine so our team-mates will know you have it and wont try to hit it.

The first thing you do is lose the idea that you will be bored.  If you act bored on the freshman team, you will spend the year on the team.  There are two things that will get you promoted.  Attitude and talent.  

You need to hustle all the time.  Even to the point of being the first one to the water on your break.  And the first one on the court after the break.  

Keep your ears open and your mouth shut unless you are being asked a question.  The coaches always want to think you are listening.

NEVER say anything negative about anything until you are home alone in your room.  You never know when someone is listening and will report to the coach.

If a coach corrects you, your answer will be "thank you, I will work on that" and mean it.  Roll your eyes and look disgusted and you can spend the season on the freshman team to think about changing your attitude.
