  1. all you need is video compressing. you can compress your video but you will  lose quality so try to compress it as much as it need to be compressed. you can do compressing using one of this ways.

1.reducing size: most of the video converters allow you to choose the video size

2.decreasing bit rate : it will really decrease your video quality but make it very smaller.

3.compression: i suggest you to change your compression it is the best way to decrease the video size. you can use X264  it is a professional video codec and it is really comfortable for videos on web but disadvantages is that you cant view it on dvd players, if you want to burn it as a video DVD it will convert your video before burning.

  2. With more detail....

It appears your camera has saved the video clip in native high resolution .AVI extension.   You will need to import that to a video program (Windows Movie Maker) or similar.  Edit, Crop, do transitions/fades, or whatever else, then chose "SAVE TO COMPUTER".  You will then be given a list of formats to choose.  Pick something from the list that condenses it to an .WMV or MPG file of a size closest to the final size you want.   Let the computer  work it's magic, then find that file and you are all set.

    Good Luck!

  3. Compress it - save as a less than full quality video file...
