How do i make a 2 year olds portfolio for a modeling agency

ok so I'm a new photographer and I'm doing a portfolio for a baby today I'm doing like outside scenes any ideas on what kind of places i should take the pics and what exactly are the kid agencies looking for... or any extra advice i will really appreciate it thank you

Poor kid, he's going to grow up really f-d up. I despise parents who do that kind of modeling, beauty pageant c**p with their kids.

My bestfriend's son has been acting and modeling since I can remember and usually she just gets great headshots of him.

All moralizing aside....

Simple backgrounds (black or dark-brown) or a severely large aperture to obliterate the background if you decide to go to the park, and that may be the best place to get the facial features you want.  

Head and shoulders shots and full body shots, full smiles with teeth.  Laughing, too.  Simple clothing, nothing too flashy.

Kids -- young kids especially -- are always tough to work with and get the right look, so plan on shooting a LOT of pictures to get 10-20 you like.

A portfolio consists of images and tear sheets from actual jobs performed. What your client is looking for is head shots. They are best done in studio, not in a park, but decent head shots can be done in open shade if you are knowledgeable about lighting. Look for the penumbra.

They want standard head shots (straight on, profile and 3/4) and one or two full body shots. Don't get too artistic in the full body shots, good clean images without clutter. Look for the models most significant features and try to highlight those.

One of the things  - I do to make money is as a computer consultant.  If I had someone come to me - for advise - for money or not -  as to HOW TO HACK INTO SOMEONE'S computer - I'd NOT help them - and I'd advise them that THIS is not an acceptable practice.

The first thing I do is go to this CLIENT and say: "a two year old's PORTFOLIO? LISTEN TO YOURSELF - can you say "JonBenét Ramsey?"

Let them grow up normally. There are millions of wannabe models that have wasted their life just because the Mother was too lazy to get out and work and wanted to live off the childs modeling income.
