How do i make a Vampire Knight (girls) Jacket for the uniform? (cosplay)?

I have the black pleated skirt, black socks, white long sleve shirt. Im gonna buy the brown lace up boots later but i need the jacket MOST OF ALL!!! So...how do i get the lines and the silver like fang thing at each side? i know about the rose buttons, im gonna sew those on...*hopefully they dont come off* but...How do i get those lines on? or how do i make the jacket?

  1. Looks like the jacket is a princess seam jacket (location of standard princess seams will have to be altered slightly to duplicate the location of the lines). Pin your pattern to your dress form (or tape to your body and have a friend help) and mark where the lines belong. Cut the pattern and add in additional seam allowances where cut. When you sew the seams, use either double fold bias tape or piping in the seam to make those lines. You may want to sew the bias tape to one panel and then sew the panels together if you find you have troubles keeping things from slipping apart. As for the "silver fang like thing", the pictures on the web sites I checked were too small for me to see what it really ought to be, but you could probably just applique a triangle of silver fabric in that location.
