How do i make a bone necklace using human teeth?

I have a couple teeth saved still, mostly smaller baby teeth and a few larger ones. I'm wondering how or if i can put a small hole through them without cracking/breaking them or some other way to connect them to a string, also is there some kind of hardening/protecting finish that should go on after?
