  1. Publisher has templates for brochures.

    Microsoft has templates here:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templa...

  2. First collect about 3-6 images about Africa some a lot of text. Then organize what you'd like to say.

Then you can either use a template to design it or put it together yourself. Publisher is your best bet. You can do it in all those programs you mentioned but Publisher would be the easiest if you're not familiar with brochure formatting.

Generally is should be set up as a three-fold (three columns per page and only two pages).

    THE OUTSIDE:

The Front Cover of the brochure (the far right column on page one) should only have the title of the subject, a main picture and a By line (that being By "you").

The Back Cover of the brochure (the middle column on page one) should have an image on top and 1 paragraph of text for the conclusion of your subject.

The Flap (the far left column of page one) should have some flavor text about your subject like, "Did You Know . . ." kind of stuff with an image at the bottom.

    THE INSIDE:

The inside far left column should have about 3 small paragraphs with headings (like titles) for an introduction about what you're saying about the subject.

The inside middle should have an image on top and 2 small paragraphs under it.

The inside far right should have another 2 small paragraphs and another image at the bottom.

When you're done you should fold it like this:

looking at page 2, fold the right side into the brochure, then the left side over the "Flap". Viola. (^_^)
