How do i make a copy of a vhs tape onto another vhs tape???

i just recently had my baby shower & since my mother lives across country i wanted to send her a copy of it but i cant figure out how to do it..i know you need 2 vcrs & of course the original tape & a blank one & thats pretty much all i know lol please help i have been struggling for about an hour now lol

please be VERY detailed..like where to connect the cables & stuff, im not very good with these kinda things
