How do i make a drill chart for a band show?

Okay so im 16 and we have a new band director and idk how good he/she is gonna be i havent met him/her. not to mention im tryin to get into a good college so im tryin to make my own band show. idk the right terms for it lol. but when u march u go to a certian spot well im tryin to make that drill chart. i've already got the music made i just need a site that i can make the drill chart on.

    this site is a game.....and you don't really have a grid, but you can make a show with it.

    you just register and then go for it.

    do you mean your school's marching ban will march to it? or is this just for fun?

    either way, i think that's really cool! i would kill myself trying to write drill to music!

    also, this game can only make a certain amount of sets, so be aware of that!


  2. you are about to embark on a great journey,..........

    first you need drill charting paper (i get mine from pepper music---jwpepper.com)

    next you need the numbers of each instrument in your band,

    assign a number to each musician (example; you have 14 flutes-they get numbers 1-14---10 clarinets=#15-24,....)

    next you need to have a phrase analysis of your music so you know if you are writin 16 count pages or 32 count pages or something else

    then you need to figure out forms, general effects, etc. making sure you dont write drill that is impossible to execute
