How do i make a penguin my pet?

I was playing with this gadget on sims 2 seasons and i was make it snow ALOT! when suddenly a penguin came to my yard and started talking to my snowman!!!I wanted to make it my pet or greet it and let it come in but it just said pet and shoo. How do i make it my pet? and why was it at my house n the first place.(i <3 penguins!!!)

You can&#039;t make the penguin your pet, sorry but you can&#039;t. The penguin is a NCP (Non-Playable Character) that only comes when it snows.
