  1. Try  making  Pizza  dough  at  least  one  time  and  you'll  want  to  find  a  quicker  way  to  do  it.  In  the  refrigerated  case  where  you  buy  those  biscuits  in  the  can,  you'll  also  find  Pizza  dough   in  a  can  by  Pillsbury.  That's  what  I  use.  Directions  for  making  a  Pizza  are  on  the  can,  all  you  have  to  do  is  buy  some  Pizza  sauce  and  the  ingredients  and  then  assemble.  If  you  try  the  quick  method,  let  the  can  sit  out  on  the  counter  about  12 - 15  minutes  and  it  will  pop  open  real  easy.  And  don't  load  up  the  Pizza  with  too  much  cheese  'n  meat,  which  is  very  tempting  but  not  a  good  idea.  You'll  see  what  I  mean  if  you  do.  Use  a  "light"  touch.

  2. Use french bread slices or english muffins for crusts if you don't want to go to a lot of trouble making crust. But here is a simple recipe n step by step pictures to help:

    http://pizzatherapy.com/dough.htm

    1 cup of warm water (105F)

    3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

    2 tablespoons of olive oil

    2 teaspoons of honey

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of yeast

    Put warm water (80 to 110°F) into a bowl. Add salt and honey and mix with a spoon. Add yeast, mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

    Gradually add flour and olive oil and start mixing.

    When the mixture gets too heavy to mix, start kneading the dough with your hands.

    Knead the dough until you have a smooth ball. If the dough cracks it is too dry. Add water bit by bit until if forms a nice coherent ball. If your doug feels more like batter, it is too wet and you need to add flour bit by bit. If you need to add water or flour, do it by small amounts.

    Coat the dough with olive oil, place it in a large bowl and cover it with kitchen wrap or a grocery bag. Let the doug rise for about an hour at room temperature, then push it down again so it deflates. Let it sit for about another hour. If you want to use it the next day, put it in a refrigerator.

    Put the dough on a lightly floured surface, put a bit of flour on top and make it into the shape of a pie by stretching it out from the center outwards. Use a rolling pin until the dough is about 1/4" thick. Punch some holes in the dough with a fork to let the air escape while the pizza is in the oven .

  3. This is a recipe of bread rolls I was going to try, and a reviewer said that they also make a great pizza dough. You pretty much just make the dough, but instead of following the usual instructions, shape the dough as you like. What I like about it is that it looks very easy and it doesn't use many ingredients.

    French Bread Rolls to Die For

    50 min | 30 min prep

    16 rolls

        * 1 1/2 cups water

        * 1 tablespoon active dry yeast

        * 2 tablespoons sugar

        * 2 tablespoons olive oil

        * 1 teaspoon salt

        * 4 cups bread flour

       1. Mix together warm water, yeast and sugar and let stand for about 10 minutes.

       2. In large bowl, combine yeast mixture with oil, salt and 2 cups of the flour.

       3. Stir well to combine.

       4. Stir in remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.

       5. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.

       6. Lightly oil a large bowl and place dough in and turn to coat with oil.

       7. Cover with cloth and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.

       8. Deflate the dough and turn out onto floured surface.

       9. Divide dough into 16 equal pieces and form into rounds.

      10. Place rolls onto lightly greased baking sheet at least 2" apart.

      11. Cover rolls with cloth and let rise until doubled, about 40 minutes.

      12. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake rolls for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. egg, flour, cup of water, and pinch of salt...also put oil for it not to stick to your hands...use as much water as possible, until the dough is playable...to extend it.
