How do i make a rope ladder?

ok here is the deal im trying to make a rope ladder, it dosent have to be complicated, just some thing about 10, 15 feet, i have wood and rope, any pics would be nice.

  1. loops and knots is all you need... no need for wood...

    it will rot anyway if you don't use pressure treated


  2. drill holes either end of about 20 same length, short planks of wood,(the same diameter as the rope you have.

    Then cut 2 lengths of the rope,(double the height you want your ladder).

    Tie a strong knot at the bottom of each piece of rope, then thread the rope through either end of one plank of wood.

    Then about 20-30cm along the ropes (depending on the height you want the steps) tie another strong knot on either rope, thread the rope through the next plank of wood.

    Continue doing this until you reach the required height of the ladder you want.

    This will give you a strong rope ladder which can be easily transported anywhere.

    NOTE: do not make the plank/rungs to long as they will bend under pressure.

  3. take a rope & tie a knot in it about every foot  till you run out of rope.

  4. Can you tie a simple knot? Two ropes, two knots, equally spaced per wooden step.  Do't forget  to drill the holes in the wooden steps.
