How do i make a video, how do i get clips from youtube?

OK, so i have a great idea for video. I'm trying to make another vocalist sing this other song and it looks good in my head. the clips are from youtube. but i don't know how to get them and i only have windows movie maker.. i don't wan to spend any money though. please tell me! and if you don't know, please don't SAY you have no idea .thankyou!

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 video or sound formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker(included in your windows machine) to create new masterpieces..

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mpg videos with windows movie maker.

Tube Tilla is Awsome...I went through the same thing you did. zillatube does not work...I tried it.

Download, for free, Tube Tilla. (If you download the free version of Tube Tilla.) Go to tubetilla.com. It comes with a free converter also. It is really easy.

How to use Tube Tilla: (Please read the rest.)

Just copy the URL of the video...then past it in the "video URL" box. Then wait for the name to appear in this other box. Then click which type you wish to convert it to. It's really easy!!!

(If you are going to edit them in Windows Movie Maker, then convert it to WMV.)

****On movie maker switch it to timeline...it is easier to use.

****Also if you don't want the sound in some clips, do a right click and go to volume...then lower it the way and say okay. DO NOT MUTE IT, otherwise you can not publish it to your computer. (which means you cannot put it on you tube)

*If you want to put it on you tube...publish the clip to your computer. When it does this it converts it into something you tube can read. (Just follow the recommended steps when publishing.)
