How do i make a video in windows movie maker into a WMV format ?

i got my video into the windows movie maker and im trying to save it with the WMV format so i can upload it to youtube

its within 10min. now so im guessing the only reason it wont upload is because its not in that format .... please tell me how to make it in that format

By default it usually saves videos in WMV. However, when you finish your movies press file > publish movie > this computer > more settings > choose a format starting with windows media > publish

It needs to be in the WMA Format for it to work on You Tube.

Here's what you have to do for it to work:

Here's how to Upload to You Tube:

Finish editing Movie in "Windows Media Maker"

Click: File

"Save Movie File"

My Computer

Next

Give it a File Name (Save in Video Folder)

Other Settings

Click Video for Broadband( 512 kbps)

Next

Saves Movie

Click Play Movies Box(Optional!)

Finish! ;)

Now Upload Video To You Tube by clicking the yellow Upload Button on you're Profile and follow on-screen instructions.

on the left side corner there is going to be something that says save video wait till it finishes saving then look in you video document it should be already in wmv format automatically well that's what mine does
