  1. It doesn't have cost you anything. You can set up  a free word press blog. Or sign up for a free account at weebly.com.

They have a great free website set up. It is also in  What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) so you don't have to Know HTML.This is the way you should go in my opinion. You can test ideas and not have to pay for hosting. When you really start to understand internet marketing. Get a hosting account with A2 hosting.Until Then...

  2. Hello,

Well for starters you are going to want to do the following...

You are going to want to find a host and get a domian name for your new business. You are also going to have to consider if you are wanting to sale things from your website. If so you are going to want to choose a host that offers E. Comm. (shopping carts) Below I have listed a brief list of some hosting places that will offer you these things.

    - Tahoe Web http://www.tahoewebservice.com offers hosting, free domain name and a shopping cart that will hold 2500 items. You will get all this for $20.00 a month. They also offer a thousand templates or you can build your own website via HTML and the custom template program they offer.

-Godaddy http://www.godaddy.com offers domain names (the dot com they sale for 8.95 a year). They do offer a website building section from a program called Website Tonight. They also offer shopping carts. They have three levels of carts that they offer.. The first being a cart that will hold 20 items for $9.99 a month (on top of hosting) the second cart is 29.99 a month again ontop of hosting and the third cart is $49.99 a month for a unlimited cart.

-Yahoo http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ecommerce offers hosting and a cart program for 39.95 a month with a 50.00 setup fee (many times they will wave this fee) they will also take a 1.5% transaction fee per sale.

Hope this info helps you out some.. Best of luck with your new business

  3. MAKE a website?

I would recommend going with XsitePro (google it to find out more) or Dreamweaver if you want to more dsign options.

But if you're a small business, then XSitePro would be the ideal solution for you.

  4. You can earn and they will build you a website absolutely free.

  5. If you want to get familiar with the net you can build quickley a "lens" at Squidoo, its basically a website and use any topic you wish. Its very popular and you can make as many as you want and you get paid just for having them because of their charity set-up. I have $10 bucks in my hopper just for having 1 lens for a few months. You can sign up here:

If you dont mind spending $$ check out ProfitMatics website building tools. They cover hosting, you get 1 domain name, 10 POP email accounts and lots more. They just added Audio/Video builder included inside and that gets expensive elsewhere alone. Plus build as many sites as you want. This is who I use. Its like $40 bucks a month. 6. google it, or go to www.com, it's extremely easy to make a website. the hard part is getting it noticed. see below for more help

PS the person above me is just advertising their own company, which is what you have to do too

  7. The easiest way for a novice to build a web site is to start with a web template. Web Templates can be customized and you can use the layout but swap the graphics etc.... this will get you comfortable with basic HTML design and an HTML editor (like Dreamweaver).

Here are some resources for free or inexpensive templates that are easy to edit and manage.

    Webmaster Templates - http://www.webmaster-templates.net

    Free Web Templates - http://www.freewebtemplates.com/

    Web Design Elements - http://www.webdesign-elements.com

    Free Website Templates - http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/

    Free Layouts - http://www.freelayouts.com/

    Free Templates Online - http://www.freetemplatesonline.com

HTML website templates can significantly ease the burden of designing and creating websites by providing webmasters with a ready-made web layout, structure, basic graphics, and color scheme.

The templates can generally be edited and customized with any HTML editor. The biggest advantage for webmasters using ready-made templates is the amount of time that can be saved.
