  1. Brew yourself some coffee or espresso.  Espresso grains are ground much finer than coffee and require an espresso machine.

Put the coffee into the fridge so it can chill.

Pour over ice with some cream (fat free milk, soy milk, half-n-half, cream, etc.) and sugar (or sugar substitute).  If you have flavored syrup, now's the time to pour it in, too.  You can either blend it in a blender to make a frappucino or keep it over ice.

You could even serve it with a little whipped cream (or Cool Whip)...and even sprinkle some candies or shaved chocolate on top (use a potato peeler to "peel" a chocolate Hershey's bar)...or drizzle some caramel or chocolate over top, too!

  2. pour 2 (or however many you like) espresso shots over ice and fill half the cup with cold milk.  top it with milk foam (you will have to steam the milk)  the ice and cold milk will cool the foam down.

to me an iced cappuccino seems like a pretty pointless drink.  i would rather make an iced coffee or an iced latte.

  3. To make a true iced cappuccino (not like the sugary ones from starbucks) you ice two shots of espresso (you can also add sugary syrups at this point) and then put milk in a device called a "frother" http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-Shin-Bistro-... (it looks like a glass jar with a screen that you can move up and down with a plunger) or a french press and froth it vigourously for at least 1 minute.  You should use whole or 2% milk because the foam will hold better.  You then pour the cold foam over the iced espresso.

  4. Starbucks doesn't make iced cap. You are probably getting an iced latte which is what we gave people who asked for iced cap. A cappuccino is espresso topped with foamy steamed milk. To put steamed foam on ice would be disgusting but I have heard of places that do it.

An Iced latte is espresso, milk. and ice and flavored syrup if you want.

I never go to Baskin Robbins so I don't know what they do but it probably has nothing to do an authentic cappuccino.
