  1. Oh Daniel, that will look like pink Kool Aid.  Anyway, add red food coloring to corn syrup and you'll get realistic blood that is also safe to have dripping from your mouth.  However, I'm not sure about you no stain requirement because I'm pretty sure that my recipe will.  Failing that: ketchup.

  2. Buy some RED FOOD COLOURING. Pour it in water!

  3. Mix some corn flour and water together, until it's the right consistency.

Then mix in red food colouring (Use a spoon, it might tinge your hands a little), and a little bit of blue, until it's the colour you want.

If not that, one of my friends used chocolate syrup with loads of red food colouring mixed in. In tasted good, and actually looked kind of realistic.

I'm afraid both of those will probably stain though, as a poster said before, anything that looks like blood / is blood will stain.

  4. It's the "won't stain" part that's going to cause trouble.

You are better off contacting a theatre-supply store and enquire about "Kensington Gore" (a type of stage blood that doesn't stain)

  5. The catch is your "won't stain". Blood stains. Anything that looks like blood will stain. Mix a little corn starch into water and then heat it to a boil to dissolve it. Add some red food coloring. Add a tiny bit of baby powder. Add a tiny bit of dirt. Let it cool and it should be liquid but a little thickened and not completely transparent. It will stain but bleach removes food coloring and detergent removes the rest.
