How do i make good jelly shots and how many would i need at a party?

having 100 people 50/50 girls to boys, have loads of beers as well but id say my friends are relatively heavy drinkers how many do u think i need, any ideas on what colors/ flavors work well any point in double layers, how much vodka etc thanks

Use the regular amount of hot water but substitute the liquor for the cold water. I usually use Pucker with the coordinating jello flavor (watermelon pucker for watermelon jello) Also get the lil serving cups with the lids (you can find them at almost any grocery store) that way you can stack them up in the fridge.

I like to use Malibu rum with just about any flavor jello.  Use 1/2 water, 1/2 rum.

I have a party every year with about 100 people and I usually make about 500 jello shots.  I do a combo of a bunch of different ones, such as rum w/ strawberry, tequila w/lime, vodka w/ watermelon there are tons of combinations!!  Have fun, Cheers :o)

Its about half vodka half water because it will stay liquid and not harden if you use 100% vodka.

Try using a smooth vodka such ask sky, grey goose, or absolut.

Any flavor is good.

And they're called jello shots btw, not jelly :)

Here is a recipe for Jello Shots, you can use any flavor alcohol, I usually use flavored vodka. Like using, vanilla vodka with cherry jell-o, or watermelon vodka with cranberry jello, whatever your taste fancies. I will say, don't waste your time doing two colors into one shot, very time consuming and if you want to make enough for 100 people it's definitely not worth the time.

From experience...if Jell-o Shots are available, people will take them. I'd say to have at least 4-5 per drinker. Have fun!

you can use almost any liquor you like, vodka is the most common.  boil the water and substitute the liquor for the cold water as the recipe requires on the jello box.  (southern comfort and peach jello is quite tasty)  don't go cheap on the alcohol, buy quality.  figure 3-5 shots per person that drinks.
