How do i make home made traps to catch flies that look like fruit flies that are coming in from outside?

i have these little flies that are coming from the outside into our home they appear like fruit flies. can you suggest a home made t rap to catch them?

Place glasses of cheap red wine or apple cider vinegar around your house and they will be attracted to it. they'll fly into it and be trapped then just pour them doun the toilet.

The previous answer uses correct bait but depends on stupid  bugs,   the smart ones feed without drowning and fly out.

   Create a funnel from a piece of  paper with a 1/2" hole at the bottom. Place the funnel in the bait container.  Make sure the funnel has a solid  seal around the mouth of the container and a space above the liquid.  The flies(even the smart ones) will enter through the hole at the bottom. Once inside they fly up to  try to exit but are unable to, due to the paper funnel.
