  1. This is from Cook's Illustrated, July/August 2008, "Reviving the Original Drive In Burger:

    2 tablespoons mayonnaise

    1 tablespoon ketchup

    1/2 teaspoon sweet pickle relish

    1/2 teaspoon sugar

    1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    I've made this about 4 times, and it's exactly the recipe that the "fast food giants" use.....Enjoy!!
