How do i make it so that you don't need my last name when adding me. read on please.?

okay so like on my myspace it doesn't require to know my last name to add me.

but i have found when people search me by my email they have to know my last name.

why is that? and how can i change it so it isn't like that.

ok all you have to do is go to:

1-EDIT PROFILE

2-ACCOUNT SETTINGS

3-SPAM

4-FRIEND REQUEST:

and make sure that Require last name or email address is not checked and it shouldnt make anybody put your last name when friend requesting you
