be in clubs(if they have them in middle school)

more friends

do what interests you and focus on it.

Talk to your friends a lot and vent about things that are pissing you off.

I had a TON of fun when i was in middle school, but then again i was a complete smart *** and got in a lot of trouble.

I wouldn't recommend it, i made some real enemies among the teachers and even the other kids - all in the name of comedy.

Well, you didn't give us much info:)

I have an 8th grader, and middle school is really hard!!

You guys are going thru so many changes in all areas of life

it's a miracle you survive!!

I don't know if you're already doing these things, but:

join clubs/groups you are interested in -- you may surprise yourself

Be open minded about as many things as possible

Do not procrastinate/stay organized

Maybe your parents would agree to let you and your friends have

one afternoon a week to hang.  You could take turns at each others'

homes or catch an early movie...Anything to have down time and

relax.

But, mostly -- believe in your self and take refuge in the people that you

know love you and are your true friends.
