How do i make money for college?

Question

My mom doesnt want me to get a job instead she wants me to focus on studying, my brother is about to go to a fancy boarding school so we are going to be skimping it for a little while, i agreed to go the state university but i do want to go somewhere else if i have the money. In college i might be able to work. Right now im only allowed to tutor and thats still shaky. I want financial aid to be a last resort because we dont really qualify and im trying to get as many scholarships as possible but its still not a lot. Please help

Many colleges offer work study programs in which you work at your University to earn money to put towards tuition.

Get a job , don't mind ur mom everybody that wants 2 go 2 college gets a job

i just made $200 yesterday from a garage sale i hosted to get rid of the younger stuff in my room and for some pocket change for college!

tell your mom, whatever you have left from the garage sale, you can give to goodwill and they will give you a donation check (for deductions on taxes) that you will give to her since you don't have a job. im sure she'd appreciate that.
