How do i make my 200 yd freestyle and 50 yd freestyle times faster?

i just started swimming a lot this summer and i cannot do a flip turn.

  1. you should do flip turn to help ,maybe it,s not very important in the 50 but it,s make big different in the 200m .

    in 50m hold your breath as possible as you can and move your leg as fast as you can (kick down and push up kick)focus on your body rotation.

    in the 200 m freestyle start with no breath and end with no breath each 5m in the beginning and in the end,don,t try to do all you have in the begin of the  race.

  2. A flip turn will make a huge difference in both events. If you're serious about improving, join a team and work hard. Make sure to improve your flipturns and dives, work out as much as possible.

  3. eat 10,000 calories of food, then swim for 5 hours.

    50 free- 21.84

    500 free- 54.26

    I suggest working on your Diving and Flip turns because those are VERY VERY important! Once you get those down Everyday eat healthy and workout. Workout for atleast 2 hours if not more.
