How do i make my UniVega Gran Sprint into a fixie?

i have a univega, and i want a fixie. detailed instructions are appreciated.

You'll have to get a track hub to attach a cog and a lock ring to on your back wheel.  You'll have to space the hub so the chain runs in a straight line with the front chain ring.

That's how I made my first fixie about 7 years ago, from an old panasonic.  You would be better off with a bike that is actually made for fixed riding.  Look for the Schwinn Cutter which is coming out soon.
