How do i make my backyard pond engine quieter?

Its been making too much and isnt much relaxing to hear.

you might be using too much voltage if not than try covering it up with fake or faux rocks and land scape

I'd get rid of the engine and go to an electric pump.

Cleaning the impeller and housing,repack bearings in pump and motor,could help.You can also buy a insulated cover from landsc ape or hardware store that will deaden the noise.they make them to look like large rocks.Good luck
