  1. get more people to push it.

  2. push your foot down further

  3. Unfortunately, power costs money, no matter which way you decide to go.  The cheapest go-fast modification is nitrous oxide ( but nitrous does have many drawbacks ).

  4. Buy a better car and stop driving like a idiot, people like you who fit blue neons to their cars and drive saxos about cause insurance to be soooooo high for everyone else, your citreon saxo will do 70 if it runs properly, and thats the limit, so dont exceed it!

  5. take the three dead bodies out of the trunk, this will make the car lighter, and increase your acceleration rate. bu tas some one said, power equals money, more power means more money, more ponies IS more fuel.

  6. It will cost a bit to do this. You have the head skimmed and new pistons fitted, then you pay more for your insurance because you have to notify your insurers and the DVLA of any modifications you make to the engine which are different from the manufacturers specification

  7. HI

There's no replacement for displacement.. to go fast it takes $$$$ especially on such a small motor.

You may be able to change out a chip in the computer, add a header, and maybe a better intake and or a turbo. but for that foreign motor even that may be expensive. You could use Nitrous but then you'd be looking for a new motor soon.

    good luck

  8. OK Paul for some simple improvements to the performance of your car you can do the following:-

    1) You need to get the fuel/air mix into the combustion chamber as easily as possible. The best way to improve over the standard air filter is to replace the standard filter box with a free flow air filter. There are loads of makes out there for example K&N, Max Power etc.

    2) Once you have the air fuel into the engine you need to get the exhaust gasses out as easily as possible. To do this you need to get a free flow exhaust system. You could start by replacing the rear box with a universal back box and then move on to the centre section and manifold.

    3) If your car is fuel injected you can fit an FSA power valve to the fuel rail to increase the responce of the injectors.

    4) You can fit high performance spark plugs.

    5) Add redex injector cleaner to your fuel system to ensure that the system is nice and clean.

    Ja.
