How do i make my cat love me more?

Question

OK, My cat is a male cat, hes an indoor/outdoor cat and i want to know how top make him love me more or snuggle wiith me and such?!?!?

Remember that cats aren't like dogs, they don't always like to snuggle: cats are generally a little more standoff-ish. I would say just give him his favorite treats and pet him a lot, just don't go overboard.

Well cats are different from other animals , they are very independent. One way a mother  cat shows love for her kittens is to  press her forehead lightly against the forehead of the kitten. As  your cat is a male its probably more of a tom cat , male cats do not like their under belly stroked in my experience. As with any pet food , water , time and love always seem to bring them a little bit closer to the human hand. I hope this helps.

try scratching his head and under his chin. even the toughest indoor/outdoor cats usually cannot resist it!

focus on how you are doing it, observe him for signs of how he likes it and what he likes best. put your love and energy into it. it makes a big difference than if you just do it half assed.

oh yeah, treats are good too! mine Loves those Halo freeze dried chicken breast pieces. they are expensive, but he loves them so much.

he comes running across the house when i say Treats! its soo cute.

just take the time to really get to know him.

remember they have their time when they want to just be cats, and when they want to interact with their human.

learn to read the signs.

Give him his favorite treats when you're petting him and try to read his body language cues so that you back off when he's had enough stimulation.

Keep in mind that some cats just aren't the cuddly types, and there's nothing you can do to change that. Just be respectful of his boundaries and hope that he catches on to the whole "snuggling" thing :)
