How do i make my catering business more sucsessfull?????? AND FAST!!!!?

Do a day of sampling. Something inexpensive to make and give away samples of it along with your advertisement.

Advertise.  Id suggest trying to partner with local wedding planners as well.

The caterer I hired for my wedding is fabulous. She's also acting as a wedding planner in a way and has so much experience and so many contacts. She doesn't even need to advertise- she gets so much business from recommendations and word of mouth.  It takes a while to become like that, so you can't do it fast.

What you can do is advertise. Craigslist is always good. Also find specific food sites such as chowbaby.com and post there.

If you have a website, you should post sample menus and prices on there. I don't know about the general public, but I think its too much effort to call 20 companies and ask "what do you offer and how much does it cost?" especially when they work the same hours as I do, so I can't call when I get home.

Who is your target market? Do you do weddings? Get in contact with wedding planners in your area and set up meetings to have them sample your food and you can tell them why you're qualified.

Maybe you should also call potential clients directly, or send a letter to them in the mail. Don't email- they'll delete it. I'm thinking organizations that hold meetings or events regularly.
