How do i make my dad forgive my boyfriend?

In November i started dating this guy, and we were really immature in the relationship and we broke up. He didn't chose the best way to break up with me either, ad it really hurt, we were again really immature while we were broken up and the cops were called and the hole big show...Now 3 months after breaking up, he came back, and i forgave him, we have both changed and matured, but now the only problem is my dad and the rest of my friends and family. They all don't like him because of what happened between us, now I am being forbidden to see and talk to him. how do i get my dad to realize that he has changed and to give him another shot?

Time. the only answer is time. You dad hears you say you have both grown but he needs to see it. He just doesnt want to see you hurt agin.  May God bless your relationship and things work out for all of you.

You can't blame your dad for not letting you see him. When you have children of your own you will see that when someone does something to intentionally hurt your child you get mad. I think you need to think about it some more and if this guy has really changed he will go to your dad and tell him he's sorry and he knows he made a mistake. Your faimly and friends are only trying to protect you be glad, some girls fathers could careless about them.

Most of the time our friends and family see beyond what our eyes can see when we are blinded by love.Your friends and family especially only want the best for you.You really need to find out from each of them why they feel the way they do about your bf.Chances are that they see through the show he may be trying to put up for you.Since you like him so much you want to believe the best about him.

I would say go by your instincts,But also pay a lot of attention to what your friends and family have to say.

If it were only your dad who has a problem then I would say to try and convince your dad.But if your friends and other family members have no confidence in this guy?That is a red flag.RUN from  him.They are most likely 100% right about him.Dont let love blind your judgement.
