How do i make my download faster help me plz!!?

hi my download is toooo slow so can u help me speed up my download and im using vista and my network thing is broadband plz help it will be a big help thank u and whoeva tells me ill make it as a best answer

im having the same problem i think it has to do with the sattelite

because i called my friend asked him to get on he got on same problem same as my cousin and dad (who is at my other cousins house) they're probably going through technical difficulties or something and im downloading a game :(

so yea they should be up and better tomorrow if you  dont have satellite then it could be youre speed or if u have alot of browsers open close some of them and like the other person said download Firefox 3.0 =D its way faster and looks cool too

well you should run a speed test with the links below. make sure u are recieving the proper bandwidth,*(make sure you dont have open torrents or it will kill your bandwidth speed)

If u arent reciving what you should which is a few less than wat u are paying for then call them and tell them to run a line test. if the test is passed then its your network adapter and you should buy a new one. (If it is biult in to the motherboerd it must be the network adapter becus they get meesed up so easily)

You can only use the speed that is available to you.  If you're subscribed to a slower or "lower tiered" speed then there isn't much you can do about it.  If you're using cable, try using it at non peak times, but that still won't get you much faster.  Upgrade to a faster speed with your ISP is the only real solution.
