How do i make my gunea pig let me pick it up?

Question

ok i had a female gunea pig for 7 months now. its loves to be peted and runs up to the cage when i open it.but when i try to pick it up it runs. how do i pick it up with out forcing it?

Well u cant just get in to go in your hand just like that...I used to have guinea pigs before (DEAD*cries*)

Just keep him in the corner of the cage and grab him/her gently and there ya go :)

Stroke the guinea pig gently and then pick him/her up.
