When I really need to keep my hair put during school, the bun always just gets really loose and my hair falls out of the hair band. I tie it in a ponytail first, then i twist it into a bun but by the end of the day its just a ponytail with two hair ties in it :[ How can i keep it in a bun the whole day?

  1. do a ponytail and make sure it is on tight,

twist the ponytail (not to the very tip or else it will all fall out)

    wrap it around your ponytail

bobby pin it down with several bobby pins

    or

do it in a ponytail tight, twist it, wrap it around the ponytail, and put it in a hair net.

if you use the hair net try and use a hairnet that is close to your hair color or else it will just look weird.

    hope i helped :)

  2. 1. Shampoo your hair (do NOT condition it)

2.Apply a styling cream like redken 05 straightening balm

3.Pull your hair into a tight ponytail above the nape of your neck use goody stayput hair ties

    4. braid your hair and tie it with a clear rubberband

5.twist your braid around and secure it with lots of bobby pins that match the color of your hair

6 (optional). use a hairnet around the bun that matches yourhair colorr and you cant see it at all

    7. hairspray, hairspray, and mor HAIRSPRAY

    8.enjoy your fab bun

**to make it even more stylish try addinga headband

  3. try using more hairlackys in the bun

or get bobby pins and slip then into ur hair all the way around the bun dont worry u shouldnt be able to see them

maybe u have bad quality hair ties:( dosent happen to me

or try using a big nice clip in your hair after u made the bun.

  4. Pin it like crazy and lots of hairspray.

  5. try a tighter hair tie

  6. brush your hair into a high ponytail, and secure it with bobby pins and clips rather than another pony tail holder. When your finished, spritz the entire hair style with hairspray.

  7. Hairspray. As long as you use a clarifying shampoo and deep condition weekly I'm sure it won't damage your hair.

Ask your mom or someone to take you to target, they have both salon products (more pricey) and regular products.

Herbal essences has very cheap hairsprays and also smells good. Other options are garnier fructis, tresemme, loreal, sunsilk, and aussie. Stay away from pantene, coats your hair and wax and damages it.

  8. try using bobby pins or clips to pin the hair in the bun/ponytail to the hair that isnt in the ponytail/bun. good luck ! :)

  9. When I danced, I usually tied a hair elastic around it tightly, wound my hair around it, put in another hair elastic, and then a hair net and tons of bobby pins. You can skip the hairnet though. And lots of hairspray!

  10. bobby pins are amazing.

  11. When I had long hair (down to my waist), I found that making the bun when my hair was still very damp helped because I could make the bun tighter.   If that doesn't work for you, try one of those "banana clips". It's my lazy way to put my hair up now that it's shoulder length.

  12. I have really thick hair so my hair always stays in a bun but my one way to make it stay is if you have long enough hair, put your hair in a pony tail then braid it then wrap it into a bun it looks really pretty and you can use bobby pins or just a rubber band.

    Good Luck

  13. With a Hair band
