How do i make my house a Wi-Fi hotspot without paying money?

Hello,

Ok so im getting the T-Mobile Dash phone...

and i dont have the money to pay extra for internet, but what i have already for my computer...I was wondering if there was any way to use the Wi-Fi extra on the phone to acces the internet in my home through my phone, but without paying extra fee's which would if i understand correctly i would have to make my house a Wi-Fi hot spot...So i guess i am asking how would i do that...

You would need a wireless router.  Attach the ethernet cable from your dsl/cable modem to the input on the router, then configure it.

No matter what you try to do, the access through your phone will cost you either in minutes of use or by the amount of data you process. There is no way to get free internet on a phone.

Install a wireless router and don't secure it.  Attach your present computer to the router either through an ethernet cable or if it has the capability, wireless also.  There should be some configuration in the phone to let it pick up wireless networks, but it may just grab it automagically if you leave the wireless network in its basic configuration.

Also, Jaskermace is wrong, I get free WIFI on my Blackberry all day using my home network!  Zero incurred data charges.
