  1. You don't need a fancy expensive cleanser for it to be effective. Cetaphil for dry skin is excellent. Also, even though you have dry skin you still need to exfoliate. That's why your skin is so flaky, because it's dead. A good quality moisturizer with hyaluronic acid will help with your problem, and you should also take fish oil supplements. They have omega 3&6 fatty acids which improve the condition of the skin very quickly

  2. Well first I think that you should get a

Neutrogena face wash specifically for dry skin...

If your face is still dry, about 5-10 min. before

doing your makeup, apply some moisturizer.

    and voila. :)

but...you might wanna make sure you don't apply

to much moisturizer because it could make your

face look greasy, or make your make up

    smudge and c**p. : /

    I'd also suggest a dewy foundation :)

    GOOD LUCK ♥

  3. hey..dont worry..when its 2 dry apply petroleum jelly i.e vasline and wipe of wid a partly wet facial tissue and then use neutrogena or almay..which is really gud 4 dry skin its realllllyy gr8..i hav da same pprob as urs..but if ya do it dis way its gr8

  4. i think that u r doing good like makin ur face clean using scrubs but u forget one thing when u wash ur face u make skin pores open , but forget to close them again b4 puttin make up so plzz try astringent n toner after cleaning face use astringent on oily part n toner for dryer part n after 5 min rub some ice cube then put make up on it will stay longer n can also put chilled rose water instead of astringent or toner choice is urs

  5. try mixing a SMALL amount of moisturiser in with your foundation before you apply it, it will help it absorb onto your skin better and hopefully stop your skin flaking.

the dryness might also be from over-washing your face? are you using really harsh acne products like proactive or something?

dermalogica have really good gentle products for troubled skin.

  6. I have skin a little like yours can be oily in T-zone but very dry on my forehead and cheeks.

The secret I have found is to find a great skin range even if it means using a different cleanser for the different areas on your face.

I use either a cream face wash for dry skin or cream cleanser then use a cleansing liquid for oily skin in the t-zone then apply a good intensive moisturiser in the dry areas maybe a lotion in the oily areas. Apply the moisturiser maybe a good 30 mins before applying your make up then it has time to absorb.

Once or twice a week I use an exfoliator too.

Unfortunately it's a case of just trying different brands and types till you find a product that works for you.

    Hope this helps

  7. ironic as it might  sound

coconut oil is good for your skin

it is not runny or oily

apply some around on your face befroe you go t osleep

it makes your skin soft like a baby

grow the aloe vera plant in your home

and when it grows cut it off, slice the middle and use the watery part on your skin before you go to sleep and leave the house in the morning

it has no odour and keeps you feeling fresh and it protects your skin  all day

no one will notice you have it on becasue your skin absorbs it
