  1. All right, i fill make it "FREE PLEASE" :)

I recommend http://www.110mb.com. It is a free service with many amazing features. It has a WYSIWYG (pronounced wizy wig, means "What You See Is What You Get") format along with an optional HTML upload, and it's "FREE PLEASE"!

  2. If you want something professional, you can create a free website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . It has a free design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year.

  3. To make a website you need a domain and webhosting. The best way to buy a domain for free is to purchase your domain and webhosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some webhosting companies offer this as a gift .Bluehost is the best one

  4. I'm looking for the same thing and hopefully poster 1 can help me!!!

  5. you should have  webspace allocation from your ISP provider.  I am with Yahoo.. they are great hosts.. AOL do like wise..   it is already included in your internet charge.  Even the most basic plans include some web space.

  6. Setting up a Web site is very easy and if you want to do it for free just go to http://www.freewebs.com (or any of the most popular free hosts listed below).

If you have specific requirements (e.g. your own domain) then there are a few things you will need to do to prepare to build your site.

    1) You should learn HTML and you can for free at http://www.w3schools.com/

    2) You will need an HTML editor unless your are proficient in HTML and can use notepad. Adobe Dreamweaver http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweave... is the best and you can download a free trial. The best free one is NVU: http://www.nvu.com/

    3) Then you need to find a host and if you are willing to pay a nominal fee then http://www.godaddy.com would be your best option.
