1.  you need to own a domain name, (www.google.com), google.com would be this sample domain name.

Depends on what type of website you are looking to make, you can create one from scratch, you could use a template or you could use a content managment system such as Joomla.

You will need a host, you can pay for this or you can get it for free from sites such as http://jgiff.net

Then you will need a domain, free hosts normally provide you with a free sub domain but you can add your own .com/.net etc at the small cost of the domain.

A) Learn HTML

B) Use some software that does not require very much knowledge of HTML, such as Dreamweaver.  Programs like this will write the HTML automatically.
