How do i make my parents get me something?

OK i need a new cell phone mine is a nextel/sprint. Everyone has a better phone i even saw a old lady having a better phone, she had a razor, and my phone dosen't even have a camerabuiltt in , can you guyspossiblee tell me how to get my parents to get me a carmea phone.

You're 12 years old, according to your other question.  Which means A) you're not even allowed to be on Yahoo Answers and you lied about your age when you joined, and B) you should thank your lucky stars that you have a cell phone at all.

i dont want to sound like your parents but you dont really need a new one. if you can call people and text your fine i had a nokia from 1999 for 2 years and i just got a new one last week but its only because i worked for it and did about 30 hours of yard work over a period of 3 weeks. so i think you need to work for  the phone, and trust me you take a lot better care of your phone when you earn it. you could also wait till your contract is up so you can get a good rebate. (a contract usually lasts 2 years)

Need and want are two different things. You don't need a newer techie phone you want it.

I want a new techie phone from Sprint myself. I could buy it right now, but I'm going to wait a few months 'til I pay off a few things first.. yep. I work for it.

Your parents work hard too. Don't think it's a good idea to "make them" buy you something. It's their money.... find a way to earn it from them and don't let them down by not following through.

Go on ebay and find a camera phone that uses sprint as the carrier. Tell your parents that you found a good deal and they may be interested because of the cost. A new phone would cost 3 times more then purchasing from someone off ebay. If that doesn't work try collecting bottles and cans to pay your way.

save your allowance and buy it yourself. or get a part time job. doing anything. and what is wrong with the phone you have? just cause it doesnt have a camera in it.  or ask for it for your birthday or for xmas if your folks can afford it.. offer to pay 1/2

Kids don't make parents do things.  Just because you want something, does not mean you NEED it.
